Administrator-level access
Use Full Power only when the regular access levels cannot do the job.
Full Power is a separate paid add-on for one licensed site. It can support work that needs administrator-level access, so it carries much more risk and responsibility. It is not included in Solo, Pro, or Agency and should never be chosen just because the task is vague.
Regular access-level path
Start with a clear WordPress job and choose the most limited access level that fits.
Compare access levelsFull Power path
Name the exact target, explain why regular access is insufficient, confirm a backup or staging site, plan the rollback, and ask a person to approve the action.
See the separate add-onQuestions to answer before using Full Power
- Did you consider the regular access levels first?Full Power is not the default starting point.
- Is the administrator-level target exact?“Fix the site” is too broad to approve safely.
- Are the prerequisites ready?Name the backup, staging site, required credentials, and dependencies before action.
- Can you realistically undo the change?Know what can be restored and what cannot.
- Did a person approve the exact action?Planning must not silently turn into execution.
